Drop Stitch Cabled Scarf Pattern

This scarf combines the best of all worlds. It allows you to show off both your cabling and drop-stitch skills, while still keeping you very warm in the winter. The one shown here was made with Lorna's Laces Honor Yarn, which is a wonderful alpaca silk dk weight yarn.

This very unusual drop stitch cable is fun to both knit and wear.   

Skill Level: Intermediate

The pattern has been updated (using an addendum) to now include a chart for the focal stitch.

Any dk weight yarn will work for this pattern.  No crochet hooks needed if you don't want to do the optional crocheted edging.
