About the patternIn this project, we use the well-loved technique of filet crochet to create a beautifully patterned wrap that will keep you warm and show off your skills.
The filet pattern is inspired by elegant smocking embroidery patterns from my native Romania.
It consists of three sections, one of which can be repeated as many times as you want, to create a double column of diamonds.
You can work this pattern in regular filet crochet or in Tunisian filet crochet.
The pattern includes a filet chart, suitable for experienced crocheters, and three detailed charts with crochet symbols, more suitable for beginners.
SizeThe finished wrap sample measures about 220 cm or 86” in length and 60 cm or 24” in depth.
To make the wrap longer, make more pattern B repeats. To make it wider, use slightly thicker yarn and larger hook.
