Dogwood Pullover

Inspired by the flowers of Dogwood tree, this pullover has a simple, slightly oversized silhouette that is highlighted by balloon style sleeves featuring leaf-like lace, and flower embroidery on the shoulders. Light and airy alpaca yarn knitted at an Aran weight gauge gives this garment drape, without adding any bulk. A fingering or sport weight yarn held together with a strand of mohair can achieve a similar effect. Free-style embroidery done with mohair and fingering weight yarn features glass beads, adding a perfect embellishment. The pullover is knit top-down, seamlessly.
