Discovery Cowl

Designed originally for the Puget Sound LYS Tour in 2024 for Bazaar Girls in Port Townsend WA. Discovering new shops, new friendships and Discovery Bay!

This simple cowl is knit using a simple lace pattern that is easy to memorize and only a four row repeat!. This single skein cowl has an increasing section to give a nice drape to the cowl while wearing it.

YARN 475 yards (434 meters) of fingering weight yarn

NEEDLES US 6 (4 mm) & US 7 (4.5 mm) 16” circular (40 cm)

NOTIONS Tapestry needle Stitch Marker Scissors Waste Yarn Crochet Hook

GAUGE 22 stitches x 40 rows = 4 inches (10 cm) in pattern after blocking

Adjust needle size to obtain correct gauge if necessary!
