Product Description
Most of the year I am a shawl fan but when it comes to the dark, cold and snowy days of winter I have a hankering for big, chunky knit scarves. I don't know if this is a throw back to my childhood when being told to wrap up warm by my mum always meant putting a big scarf on or whether its a result of binge watching cheesy Christmas films, at this time of year, where everyone seems to be wearing one. What I do know though is that the thought of wrapping myself up in one and then going walking across the snow covered countryside with a flask of hot chocolate and a pocketful of biscuits brings a smile to my face and is enough to lure me outside on even the coldest of days.
In addition to the 225m/ 246yds of a super chunky weight yarn you will need scraps of a contrasting colour yarn in a lighter weight to make the tassels.
