This pattern is named after a little fishing village in Co. Cork in Ireland where I spent my youth and young adult life every Summer holiday. It has so many memories and I think of Crosshaven as my spiritual home. Waking up early in the morning and watching the boats gives me such a sense of calm.
My Irish roots have inspired my love of the Aran style of knitting and I have introduced a modern twist to my creations. Some experience is required to knit this beautiful pattern and it is suitable for a boy or girl.
Size Guide: The pattern for a Hat and Jacket has instructions to fit 19″ chest and the end product is larger as it is a jacket. Because of the style of the cable I have devised this as one size on the pattern.
