Product Description
Friendly animals adorn this cozy blanket and keepsake for a baby or small child. Each animal has a special feature. The kangaroo has a pocket, the elephant and giraffe have swinging tails, and the elephant has a swinging trunk.
The reverse side has cables to make the blanket reversible.
The bodies of the animals are worked in a combination of intarsia and duplicate stitch.
The features and outlines of the animals are added with a crochet hook or needle. Pinwheels decorations are embroidered.
There are five seams to sew. Instructions are included for a zebra that can replace any of the five other animals.
The blanket is worked in Cascade 200 Superwash worsted weight yarn. Note that a full ball of the accent colors is specified but the project will need fewer than 100 yards of each accent color.
