Cosy Winter Hat

This is a knitting pattern using double-pointed needles to make a soft and fluffy, warm and cosy winter hat. I've found that using the yarn I did, the hat doesn't let the wind in like many knitted hats, and it's so warm and cosy, you'll probably need to take it off in shops etc, as your head will get too warm.

I loved using this yarn, which is so tactile, soft and fluffy, it was difficult to count my rows and stitches to get the tension information for the pattern, as you can't really see the stitches at all. I also love the fact that, using Robin Fleece yarn, you only need one ball to make this hat. A simple cowl to accessorise with it would only require one ball, too.

This hat would make a great gift for a mother, aunt, grandmother, or anyone who suffers in cold weather or lives in a colder climate.
