Product Description
Cleome is worked flat (sideways), increasing along one edge to create an asymmetrical triangle. Stitches are increased in pattern and then onward into the ribbing. The beautiful texture, easy yet interesting stitch patterns and the built-in slip stitch edge make knitting this shawl a fun and entertaining experience.
Original yarn: Happygoknitty Āhuru 4, 80% wool - merino, 20% possum:
437 yds/ 400 m per 100 g. Shown in color Driftwood, approximately 985 - 1083 yds (900 - 990 m)
Gauge: 22 sts x 34 rows = 4” (10 cm) in slip stitch cable pattern AFTER blocking.
Gauge is not crucial for this project but will affect yardage and final size when different.
