This pattern gives instructions for three different designs of fun puppet mittens for children - Teddy, Panda and Cat. Each design is available in three sizes, to fit children from 2 to 7 years old.
The mittens are knitted flat and seamed. Buttons are used for eyes, but if knitting for small children you may prefer to replace these with embroidered features for safety.
MATERIALS DK yarn (varies with design and colours used, but less than 50g total for a pair in the largest size) A pair of 3.25mm knitting needles Safety pins Buttons Tapestry needle

Pattern was straight forward. I used a fluffy yarn to make the teddy mitts and was pleased with the result. Fiddly to sew up and add features with several ends to weave in in a small space. Used ordinary DK for the kitten mittens. Take care with the features. The expression on the face makes all the difference to the attractiveness of the finished result. Give the mouth an upward turn at the ends.
