I decided to use some of my favorite colors and my favorite stitch pattern, a chevron (my husband loves a Chevrolet) to design a dog park hat named after my new Bernedoodle puppy, Chevy. He has been the most fun and the most exasperating at the same time. He’s so fun loving, wants to treat everyone like a friend (like his girlfriend at daycare who he chose to “sit on” instead of “sit by” one day, see photo on the next page). The chevrons represent a loose take on a collar with a dog tag hanging off the chain but it’s just a bit of a nod to my love of dogs.
