Celeste - 8ply booties and mittens

This 8ply Bootie and Mitten set is worked in a lovely but simple lace pattern for the top edges, then stocking stitch for the remainder. Easy and quick to knit, they will make a perfect present for a new baby.

Pattern sizes: 0 (3-6-9) months.

To fit foot: 7 (8-9-10) cm [2¾ (3¼-3½-4) ins].

Yarn required:

1 (1-1-1) ball Lincraft Superwash 8ply, 100g balls@190m.

Quantities vary between knitters and types of yarns.

Needles required:

A pair of 4.00mm [UK 8, US 6] knitting needles.

Wool needle for sewing up.

Also required:

192 (204-216-228) cm [76 (80-84-88) ins] narrow ribbon.

Tension: 22 sts and 30 rows to 10cm [4 ins] over stocking st, using 4.00mm needles.
