It’s the best wool I have ever used. Thick, soft and very easy to kit up. Good for Aran work I have knitted myself a warm jacket which I will enjoy wearing next winter. At the moment I am knitting beanies and it’s brilliant for making a really thick warm beanie in one skein of wool.

This sweater is to be a gift so I wanted it to be easily washable this wool yarn is soft has a lovely colour saturation, good even twist, altogether a superior quality product plus it was such a great price for such quality will certainly buy more.
Love This Yarn
Been using this yarn for years, I love knitting with it. Making a small shawl with Superwash stash, I realized I was short, ordered one more skein, in stock and even though it's been a while, color is so close. Thanks, Cascade.
Nice to work with for socks
Hasn't been through a wash yet so reserving judgement on the fifth star. It is nice to work with and doesn't split. I use it for socks.

I bought this to knit socks for my daughter-in-law who always has cold feet. Mostly I was interested in ease of care since she is a working mother. For some reason, I presumed it was fingering, but discovered my mistake when it arrived. Thought I’d try it anyway, although I‘ve had to alter the pattern due to the thickness of the yarn. Very happy with this wool. I have been buying wool at twice the price and felt I needed to look around for something cheaper. This fits the bill. The colours are lovely and there is very little stretch in it to confuse tension issues. I am using it for crochet and knitting - both toys - and it is doing the job very nicely. I recommend it and Lovecraft as a place to buy with great customer service.
