This little shawlette was designed for the Minnesota Yarn Shop Hop 2013. The Shop Hop theme for 2013 is "iYarn@". At 3 Kittens we often knit at the coffee shop, so our variation of the theme is "iYarn@the coffee shop." This design is named for our local coffee shop, Caribou Coffee - where they know us all by name!
Caribou is comprised of stockinette stitch sections alternating with reverse stockinette stitch sections with an eyelet row. Stitches that you will need to know to complete the shawl are: knit, purl, kfb (knit front and back), pfb (purl front and back), k2tog, yo.
Yarn Requirements: 1-2 skeins Lorna's Laces Shepherd Sport (200 yards, 100 grams) - small requires one skein, medium requires two Sizes: S (M) - the green shawl photographed is the smaller version Finished Measurements: approximately 7" wide x 38" long (12" wide x 62" long) Gauge: 20sts/4" in stockinette stitch, blocked
