YARN 120 yards of aran weight yarn, shown in Posh Martha Aran, 80% merino, 10% nylon, 10% cashmere, 180yd/165m per 100g skein, in colour Chimney Sweep (Black)

Or 160 yards of lace weight yarn, shown in Fyberspates Angora Merino Laceweight, 880yd/800m per 100g skein, in Natural (Undyed)

NEEDLES and NOTIONS US 8 (5mm) circular needle, 12-16in, 30.5-50.5cm long, or longer needle for Magic Loop Two cable needles Tapestry needle Stitch marker(s) 1 larger needle (optional, for cast off)
