Product Description
**About The Design:**This is an easy and quick-to-knit cable and rib tea cozy, using heavy worsted weight wool yarn. Knit smaller than a teapot’s circumference, the cozy stretches to snugly fit the teapot. The pattern offers 2 sizes for 2-3 cup and 3-4 cup teapots. I’ve knit two samples in Brown Sheep Lanaloft Worsted and two samples in their Lamb’s Pride Worsted, both affordable, readily available, and made in the US! The 2-3 cup size only needs about 38 gr of yarn, and the 3-4 cup size needs about 55 gr of yarn, which makes this project a way to use up those small amounts of stash yarns to knit up some gifts for the tea drinkers in your life!
**Materials:**2-3 cup: Brown Sheep Lanaloft Worsted, 100% wool, approx 160 yds/3.5 oz: 1 skein LLW Sky Blue or Lamb’s Pride Worsted, 190 yds/4 ozs.: 1 skein M140 Aran
3-4 cup: Lanaloft Worsted: 1 skein LL33 Manor Grey or Lamb’s Pride Worsted: 1 skein M155 Lemon Drop
Gauge: 20 sts & 28 rows = 4” in St st, with size 8 ndls
