Bye Terra

Oh, no! The Fibre Co. is discontinuing one of my favorite yarns! Terra a soft, aran weight I have been playing around with for some time, trying out this pattern stitch. It started as a cowl, then got frogged, awaiting greater inspiration. But now that Terra is leaving us, I must launch this design sooner rather than later, as a farewell tribute. With a nod to the movie Friday, which popularized “Bye Felicia” as a dismissive way to get someone out your face, I now say, “Bye Terra,” as a send-off with attitude, a classic case of sarcasm and sassiness disguising hurt and disappointment.
