Bumpy Cake Baby Afghan

Say hello to the Bumpy Cake Baby Blanket Crochet Pattern — the dessert-inspired cuddle-fest your crochet hook has been craving!

Inspired by the iconic Midwest treat (you know the one — cake, frosting bumps, and pure joy), this blanket brings the texture, the squish, and the drama in the best way possible. With raised rows that look like frosting swirls and waffle-y softness that begs to be touched, this blanket is a bakery in yarn form.

It’s bold, bouncy, and perfect for babies who like their naps with a side of luxury.

Why you’ll be sweet on Bumpy Cake:

1. Super textured & extra squishy — like crocheting with marshmallows
2. Great for sensory play (hello, baby fingers!)
3. Works up beautifully in color blocks or classic neutrals
4. Makes your handmade gift look fancy with minimal effort

Whether it’s tummy time or tea party time, the Bumpy Cake Blanket is here to serve up cozy with a cherry on top.

Grab the pattern and whip up a baby blanket that’s as sweet and squishy as it sounds!
