Product Description
This pattern is for a crocheted winter hat with braided cable detail, ribbed bottom perimeter and optional pompom embellishment. You can omit the pompom or add a pre-made pompom if you choose. The cable portion is written with positive ease to allow for fuller hair or an updo. The ribbing is added to tighten the fit around the forehead. You can use a premade fur or yarn pompom or make one yourself. I provide instructions on how to make your own pompom with yarn and cardboard circles. The pattern is written for head circumference of about 22"(55cm), but easy to modify to other sizes.
