Product Description
A bomber jacket (or blouson bombardier in french) style sweater inspired by Amelia Earhart and the first women aviators. Roomy with blousy cabled hems, hip length. Wing inspired details on the sleeves and shoulders in cables and lace. The yarn is a light and bouncy merino wool, a pleasure to knit and wear.
Worked flat from the bottom up. The body is composed of two identical side pieces. Each sleeve and shoulder are knit seamlessly as one piece, with fitted shoulder shaping and capped set-in sleeves integrated. All is joined together by a contrasting color front cable and crocheted mattress stitch on the back.
The pattern includes charts, a schematic, and detail photos, 9 pages. The pattern has been test knitted in all sizes and technically edited by Anna of aersknits.
