Blossom Baby Blanket and Throw

Blossom is a very easy baby blanket or throw, (or even lap blanket in front of the tv), knitted with warm chunky/bulky yarn that has random flowers throughout. The yarn itself makes the flowers and has very pretty pastel colours in between.

There are 3 sizes – a premie baby/car seat blanket, a cot blanket, and a throw/large baby blanket. (Instructions are also included on how to make it wider and/or longer.) It has a moss stitch (US seed stitch) edge which is knitted as the blanket grows.

It is an EASY pattern and is suitable for both beginners and the more experienced - skills needed are cast/bind on and off, knit and purl sts, joining in a new ball of yarn and sewing/weaving in ends. Instructions are written line by line, in English with British/US terms. Any chunky/bulky yarn should be fine, but check tension/gauge.
