Product Description
This slightly quirky cat themed baby blanket is made up of stocking/stockinette stitch mitred blanket squares with moss/seed stitch borders. The blanket squares are sewn together with alternating squares having a cat motif in the left corner. The cat motifs are added after the square is knitted by Swiss Darning/duplicate stitch following the charts provided. However, they could be added using the intarsia method as you knit the square. The squares are knitted using a chunky/bulky weight yarn.
As well as blankets, the squares could have many uses, for example, cushion covers, bed runners, framed as wall art, coasters using a less bulky weight yarn and much more. The cat motifs could also be used for different projects.
