'Big Wool' Beanie Hat 2

I love quick weekend projects and this pattern is ideal for just that.

The hat is made using just 1 ball of Rowan Big Wool. The finished item is quite stretchy so will fit various sizes.

This beanie is very similar to one of my other patterns - 'Big Wool' Beanie 1. The only difference is that this hat is worked in double crochet throughout and has an altenative finished edge, whereas the other hat introduces half treble crochet stitch. Both are very easy to make as a first project.

Big wool is very easy to work with and has some wonderful colours.

You will need an aditional ball of wool if you want to make a pom pom in the same colour, otherwise go for a contrasting colour or a fur pom pom.
