Between petals socks

These are simple yet beautiful: with a trim of floral colourwork around the leg, German short row heel and contrasting toes.

Leg length from the cuff to the start of the heel: ca. 10.5 cm (4.25 in). The sample is shown in size 2 on EU 38 (UK 5.5, US 7.5) shoe size feet.

For the ankle length sample showed I used:

MC: ca. 50 g of Lopi Einband held double, 100% Icelandic wool with 250 m (273 yds) in 50 g skein, shown in shade 9075 (pecan heather); with an estimated yardage for a pair of socks of 125 m //136 yds.

CC: ca. 30 g of Ethno Natura 500 Vivchari, 100% Ukrainian wool with 500 m (545 yds) in 200 g skein, shown in shade 213 (raspberry); with an estimated yardage for a pair of socks of 38 m //41 yds.

Gauge

28 sts & 34 rnds in 10 cm (4 in) measured over stockinette stitch worked in the round on 2.5 mm (US 1.5) needles after blocking;

28 sts & 30 rnds in 10 cm (4 in) measured over colourwork worked in the round on 2.5 mm (US 1.5) needles after blocking.
