BERTRAND Bag

BERTRAND Bag is a practical little bag – perfect for carrying essential items such as sunglasses and cell phone when traveling light.

This bag is worked in two pieces in single crochet (US term), with both pieces later joined with a slip stitch seam.

Stitches and techniques used: chain, single crochet (US term, equals UK double crochet), slip stitch.

YARN

(100 % long-staple wood fiber, ydg 250 m/ 100 g [273 yds / 3.5 oz]), shown in colors ‘Desert Palm’ and ‘Tropez Tan’.

100 g [3.5 oz] (= 1 cone) are just enough for one large (approx. 60 g [2.1 oz]) and one small (approx. 40 g [1.4 oz]) bag.

NEEDLES

Crochet hooks 3.5 mm [US E/4, UK9] and 3.0 mm [US between 2/C and 3/D, UK11].
