Bertie Cable Romper

This romper is worked by creating two separate crotch tabs, then joining these to work the body in the round. Legs and trims are worked in 2x2 rib, and a cable panel is worked at the front centre, with a cable running at each side. This traditional style romper is close fitting at the chest, with the high back trim providing stretch.

Sizes: 0-3 (3-6, 6-12, 12-24) months

Needles: Circular 4.00mm (US6) & straight or circular 3.50mm (US 4) for leg cuffs and straps, plus cable needle

Yarn: 50g x 2 (2,3,3) balls, e.g. Drops Merino Extra Fine (105m per ball)

Buttons: 2 for straps and 5 smaller for crotch
