Product Description
About The Design: This revised pattern has spout and handle openings, which allowed for the addition of a 3-cup size. The original un-spouted pattern is also included, in a 2 cup and 4 cup size – your choice!
This is a good advanced beginner project, as, although the fabric has knit and purl sections, the entire piece is worked in St St, made possible by using wrap and turn. Honey bee buttons embellish the cozies.
Materials: 2-cup cozy: Kraemer Yarns Mauch Chunky, 60% New Zealand wool / 40% Domestic wool, approx. 120 yd / 100 gr: 1 skein #Y1044 Butterscotch (I used 1 skein with just inches rem'g.)3-cup cozy: 2 skeins #Y1044 Butterscotch (it uses just a few yards from the 2nd skein) (2 skeins yarn will make both the 2 and 3 cup sizes.)4-cup cozy: 2 skeins #Y1019 Sweet Corn
Gauge: 14 sts & 20 rows/4" (10 cm) in St St, with size 10 ndls, or size to get gauge.
Substitute Yarn: Patons Classic Wool Roving may work, or other wool roving yarn of the same yards per 3.5 oz skein, which gets gauge.
