Beach Hut Doorstop

Knit a seaside favourite. This Beach Hut is a decorative ornament, or add a weight inside to use it as a bookend or doorstop. The beach hut uses simple stripes, combining stockinette and garter stitch for texture. The lifesaver uses short row shaping, the window uses intarsia colour-work, and chain stitch embroidery is used to decorate the finished hut. For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
