Beach Bum

Beach Bum is a half circle shawl design using a combination of garter stitch, eyelet lace, and simple increases and decreases. This is a written pattern with no charts.

A note about gauge: Gauge was measured after blocking. This shawl is knit at a loose gauge for a lightweight shawl with lots of drape. It is designed to use up as much of each skein of yarn as possible. If you work at a different gauge please take yardage into consideration. You’ll need more yarn at a smaller gauge.

I used size 7US (4.5mm) needles and two skeins of Sock Obsession Yarns resilient smooth sock yarn in the colorways Speeding Ticket and Hawaiian Something.
