Batgirl Barbie costume, 11" -12" doll

Here is a batgirl outfit to fit any 11" or 12" doll. As the gloves are open ended and the boots knit separately, they are able to accommodate all sizes. I have shown a photo with my tallest Barbie wearing it and also my smallest Disney Princess (Merida). The body is knit all in one with the sleeves/gloves and leggings sewn in. The mask, cape and ears are also knit in one piece (apart from the lining) and cleverly fold together with the minimum of stitching. I admit to topstitching around the eyes and pony tail hole just to neaten them. It takes around 25g of black DK yarn and 15g yellow DK yarn. I knit one in a black cotton mix DK that I had left over and it used around 40g of black.
