The design was inspired by the knitted Primavera shawl and adapted into a crochet construction method.

Construction Method

The Autunno Shawl is crocheted from the bottom up in one flat panel. After the main panel is completed, the piece is folded in half and seamed along a portion of the top edge using a single crochet stitch worked on the right side. This seaming technique creates a decorative accent seam while leaving an opening for the head, allowing the garment to be worn over the shoulders in multiple configurations.
