Manfredovna passed/pitched this Raveler request for an anchor beanie to me. :) so I made her knit up the first test sample Thank you very much!
So here it is. It has a two color ribbing, followed by a herringbone edge that looks like a friendship band, then come the big anchors, surrounded by some little border patterns and the top has little anchors in two colors all around.

You can knit it with any 4- to 5-ply yarn (sock yarn, Merino, Acrylic, summer version cotton) and so also vary the size a little. As it uses the two colors throughout the whole beanie, the pattern is also suitable for two-color-knitting-beginners.
