Amecameca

Amecameca is a soft, stranded infinity scarf. Warm but lightweight, it’s the perfect self-indulgence to cozy up with after all that holiday knitting you did for others.

Amecameca is worked in the round, and features a repeating motif inspired by Aztec textiles. Charted instructions are provided for two motif variations. All measurements given in both inches and centimeters.

Materials • 300 yds (275m) of Malabrigo Lace in Color A • 300 yds (275m) of Malabrigo Lace in Color B • US 3 – 3.25mm (or size to obtain gauge) circular needle, 9” long • Tapestry needle • Stitch marker • If you prefer grafting the ends of the scarf (versus seaming) you will need waste yarn for the provisional cast-on

Measurements 7” (18cm) wide and 46” (117cm) in circumference

Notes on yarn If you’d like to substitute yarn, look for a high-quality laceweight that is primarily merino, alpaca, or cashmere, possibly with some silk if you like shine. Choose two
