Almsee is a modern shawl, featuring a lovely ribbing border with a small lace pattern combined with garter stitch. The shape is an asymmetric triangle which is wearable in various ways.
Pattern contains written instructions, chart, photo tutorial and a schematic. Print pages 1 - 6 English, 7 - 12 Deutsch.
The total yardage in fingering weight yarn is 768 m / 840 yards. ( I used all 2 skeins of Malabrigo Mechita for my shawl! To be on the safe side I recommend to buy a third skein!).
Gauge is 16 sts x 27 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4“ x 4“ in garter stitch (before blocking)
