Debbie Bliss Rialto DK

I purchased this Debbie Bliss rialto yarn and spent around 4 months knitting a jumper. I purchased the yarn especially because it was advertised as a super wash (meaning it's machine washable) merino. I finished knitting it and before wearing it for the first time washed it as per the instructions on the ball band (30 degree cycle). This is an excellent yarn to crochet: smoth to work with and well spinned.

Very soft, used for baby clothes but haven't washed items yet, knites up well and will buy again

There were too many joins in the ball of wool, which was disappointing because otherwise the quality is lovely.

Watch out for tiny little bobbles which are actually joins.

This yarn is amazing to knit with and looks great. I used it for the suggested yarn for pattern. I'm halfway through my project.

I choose to use wool or a yarn with a high percentage of wool because I believe it is better value than a cheaper synthetic yarn. This applies to personal garments not necessarily to household items like cushion covers or throws etc. I find Debbie Bliss Rialto Dk nice to knit with and produces a very nice garment which is comfortable to wear and washes well. It knits up well to all DK patterns.

I have used Debbie Bliss Rialto for several garments I've made for my children, their children and now my great grandchildren. It always knits up really well, is specially soft and washes well. There is a wide range of colours too.

Just as this site is fantastic, the yarns I purchased are some of the best I've found. Debbie Bliss Rialto DK is fantastic to knit with and has a softness and a nice slight sketchiness that makes it a pleasure to use.
