Winter Blues for 18" Dolls

Winter Blues, #2697. Our Victorian miss is sitting by her window and feeling sad and blue because the weather is too cold for her to play outside. Crochet pattern leaflet includes instructions to make the dress with attached petticoat, hair bow and shoes/socks made from worsted weight yarn, Luster Sheen, perle cotton (or substitute #10 thread). Fits 18" American Girl Dolls, Springfield Dolls, Götz Dolls and similar sized dolls.

MATERIALS NEEDED Sizes G and D crochet hooks and size 7 steel hook or sizes needed for gauge; five #3 snaps; 2 white ribbon roses; two 1/4” white buttons; bobby pins; J. & P. Coats Luster Sheen, art. A95--14 oz. white, 10 oz. blue; 9.5 oz. worsted weight denim blue ragg yarn; 95 yds. white #5 perle cotton. 

GAUGE With G hook and worsted weight 4 sts and 4 sc rows or 2 dc rows = 1 inch.

With D hook and Luster Sheen or sport weight 6 sc and 8 sc (in back lps) rows = 1 inch. 6 dc and 3 dc rnds = 1 inch.
