This pattern comes with two ways of making the head - one with an embroidered face, one using mohair yarn to give a fluffy face. Hood is made separately. The pattern is written using US crochet terms, and the list of abbreviations includes the UK alternatives.
You will need the following yarn, double knitting weight:
Brown yarn, something a bit tweedy will look good.
Cream yarn.
Russet brown yarn.
Light grey/brown yarn (for head version 1) or light grey/brown mohair yarn (for head version 2).
Small amount of brown and white yarn or embroidery thread for nose and mouth.
Height approx 5.5" tall.
