Size The knitting pattern gives instructions for two sizes of toy unicorn, small and large. However, depending on the yarn and needle size you choose, your unicorn could be a variety of sizes. As a rough guide, using worsted yarn, size 8 (5mm) needles and the large size pattern will produce a unicorn about 10 inches high, and using DK/light worsted yarn, size 6 (4mm) needles and the small size pattern will produce a unicorn about 6 inches high.
