Universal Pet Sweater

This pattern dynamically calculates the rows and stitches based on your inputs into the PDF. In order for the pattern to work correctly, you will need to open the pattern in Chrome when on your computer, and Adobe Reader (free app!) when on your phone.

The Universal Pet Sweater Pattern lets you make a custom pet sweater based on your pet's measurements and style choices, no math required. Choose your ribbing stitch, body stitch, and ease, and the PDF handles the rest. Works for crochet, Tunisian crochet, or knit, and fits any pet with a standard dog/cat shape.

Worked top-down, starting at the collar, you'll build the between-the-legs section, increase around the ribcage, join to form the mid-body, then decrease to your desired length. No fabric over the legs means maximum mobility for your pet.

Input collar-to-tail length, ribcage and head circumference, leg spacing, collar length, ease, and custom gauges. Add yarn info for an optional yardage estimate.
