Product Description
This pattern came about in response to a request for a ‘different’ cot blanket for a new baby. It began as a simple idea but has turned out to be my longest (and definitely most enjoyable) project to date. Everyone who saw it had their own ideas as to what should be included for each month!
I have knitted my blanket in Stylecraft Special DK, chosen because I have so many of the colours in my stash & also for its easycare properties. Of course, most DK yarns would be suitable for this project & the colours for each month can be interpreted in lots of different ways. This could be an ideal stashbusting project.
The blanket, Knitted in Garter & Moss Stitch, measures 26.5 x 25 ins (67 x 64 cms) & (minus the motifs) uses a total of approx. 270 g yarn. It is worked in one piece on straight, single point needles, with the motifs knitted separately and stitched to the finished blanket.
The pattern is in PDF format on 30 pages, with row by row instructions & explanatory photos.

Would be nice to have the full list of colours at the top of the pattern instead of only some the the others listed as you get to the month square. I have had to do a second order
