This is a lovely toy to make. I’m making one at the moment. The pattern is easy to follow. Stitch marker will be your best friends and a note pad to tick off stitches in some areas.

Gauge - 14 stitches and 14 rows = 10 cm
Required materials:
· 2 skeins of brown color plush yarn (for example, Yarnart Dolce, Himalaya Dolphin Baby, Bernart Baby Velvet yarn-100g/120m per skein). I used Yarnart Dolce nr.765
· a little of white, orange, peach, grey, green and pink colors plush yarn
· a little of black color plush yarn for eyebrows
· a little of white and dark blue or black color cotton yarn
· 4mm crochet hook
· 2mm crochet hook for the tongue, horns and teeth
· safety eyes 9 mm
· Filler for the toys
· thin long needle and needle with a large eyelet
· marker
· yarn cutter or sharp scissors

ch – chain stitch
sc – single crochet
inc- increase
dec- decrease
sl st- slip stitch
r= rounds(s)
(…)*- repeat the space on brackets the given number of times

Good
The pattern isn’t the most thorough and I did have to make up parts where there was less direction (the legs). Some parts were confusing such as the use of the phase “rotary rows” which isn’t a standard term. The addition of eyebrows was also left out of the pattern. I wouldn’t recommend for beginners or low intermediates
