The ultimate Bad Girl in my book? Maleficent of course!

This shawl was so much fun to put together and I hope that you enjoy knitting it as well. I was so happy to capture a shape that reminded me so much of Maleficent’s impressive wings, and the color selection was just perfection! I worked a series of slipped stitches that reminded me of the hedges she put up to protect the castle, and so lace work that reminded me of her horns, ending with a dainty mesh section to really capture the spirit of Maleficent. If you haven’t seen it yet, I highly recommend working on your shawl while watching the new movies that tell the story behind the Villain…..and let it encourage you to look beyond the surface to the pain point of those around you, is there a reason that they are so quick to fear you? Just a little bit of grace can go a long way…..
