Siwatl [ˈsiwaːtɬ] means “woman” in Nahuatl, the ancient language of the Aztec people who populated a lot of Latin America, including Mexico. As a Mexican artist, my cultural heritage always calls me with inspiration, and as a woman and mother, I see the power in this word. Besides, is there anything more flattering than a peplum cut on a woman? The Siwatl top will elevate the female form while keeping you entertained as you make it. Siwatl sports a fitted bodice with a stretchy ribbing and a lace-like peplum skirt, a deep V-neck at the front and a higher neckline at the back with thin straps.
