Northern Lights Scarf: This version combines two DK weight yarns to create a dynamic color interplay. This yarn is paired with Willow and Lark Ramble in shade Bark Melange, a soft heathered brown that provides visual contrast. The Ramble yarn recedes into the background when juxtaposed with the vibrant green tones, then moves forward visually against the darker purple shades, taking on a lilac cast in those sections.

Second Scarf Variation: The alternative design uses heavy aran weight yarn with a cable-plied construction that eliminates fuzz and creates sharp color definition. This version features very short bursts of color, producing a distinctly different visual effect from the Northern Lights version despite using the identical stitch pattern.
