This simpy-made, gender neutral blanket works up quickly in an easily-remembered pattern. The blanket uses only simple stiches like single and double crochet (UK: double and treble crochet), but then introduces a bit of fun in the form of double treble (UK: triple treble) stitches that cross over each other to form a textured surface. Full instructions for working the crossed stitches are given, and there is also a photo to help.

Fully customizable, the pattern includes clear instructions on how to change the size of the blanket to preemie, crib/cot, playpen and other sizes.
