Détails du produit

The red panda is a mammal from the Himalayas and southwestern China, that is not at all closely related to the giant panda. It belongs to the superfamily of carnivorous mammals, that includes weasels, otters, ferrets and wolverines. Although it is classified as a carnivore because of its ancestors, the red panda rarely eats anything other than bamboo and a few insects. Panda’s in zoos are veritable escape artists, having broken out of zoos around the world! So keep an eye on your knitted red panda to make sure it doesn’t make a break for it!

This red panda measures 20 cm, and was knitted on 2.25 mm double pointed needles (UK 13, US 1) with Rowan Felted Tweed (154) ginger and (160) gilt, Lana Grossa Mohair nuovo (14) black and Lana Grossa Ragazza Voi (007) white.
