This Rainbow Festive Star will add some bright cheerful colours to your Christmas tree. This is also a super little project to practice increases and decreases, and mattress stitch seaming. Each of the five star points are knitted separately with some basic increases and decreases, then sewn together to make a star shape. Two stars are then sewn together to make the hanging decoration. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the star is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round). For beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits and purls.
