Paintbox Yarns Baby DK Prints

I'm disappointed with this yarn as it seems finer than a usual DK. Knitting 22 stitches and 30 rows measures only 3 1/4" square with 4mm needles. I knit every single day and have done for most of my life. My knitting is not tight and I never have an issue with tension on other projects. I think you should be looking at the yarn! I have Paintbox Simply DK yarns in my stock and the yarns are very different although the test square info is the same.

Love this yarn so pretty for baby knits and a joy to knit with. I used it for new baby items for a friend's (not a knitter) new niece, she was delighted with the results and so was I. I always buy yarn from Love Crafts because of the convenience, I don't have to go looking for a shop that sells good quality yarn at good value its there at my fingertips and delivered to the door in a couple of days.

Knits well..had 2 knots in first ball but none since and have used 5 and a half balls...Will probably buy in a different colour..

Beautiful baby wool. Have crocheted and knitted with it very successfully. My first Great Granddaughter looking lovely in her new outfits.

Lovely to crochet with and great colours. I'm making the round and round baby blanket so it's fun to see how the stripes turn out.

Very soft and easy to work with

I’ve used this yarn for many baby projects - sweaters blankets etc. Very happy with the results. Although it is a #3 yarn I often use it for patterns that recommend a #2 yarn (European “fine” gauge or 4 ply) with great results.
