Mr Perry The Platypus

Say hello to Mr Perry The Platypus, he's a real gentleman! This is a most unusual creature, with a duck-like bill and a beaver-like tail... And in his amigurumi form Perry is always ready for a hug!   

The instructions are written in US crochet terms, with step by step photos detailing how to make the pieces and finish the toy. The arms and legs of the platypus are shaped as you go through increases and decreases when making the body, with smaller details sewn over the top.  When made with DK weight yarn and 3.50mm hook the finished platypus will measure about 26cm/10 inch tall.
