55% British Bluefaced Leicester and 45% Grade A Mulberry Silk. Accredited as a blend of British wool, by British Wool. Natural, tactile and opulent. Look out for your McIntosh sew-on label that will be tucked away in every skein. Each skein is individually hand-dyed to create a "visual texture" of darker and lighter tones when knit. Due to the nature of hand-dying, each skein is variegated in colour, some areas darker than others, this is intentional and makes every McIntosh skein individual and is as unique as you are. Wind into a ball before use. Because you’re FABULOUS!

beautiful "proper" wool that is beautifully hand-dyed. The skein matches the picture and is a joy in my hands to knit with.
I have bought 4 skeins of this in the past and wanted to add another one to my stash, Colour is added on one side bright on the other as if it's been sat in the sun, I know it's a hand dyed yarn but this looks nothing like the others I have bought. And what a tangled mess it took me hours to sort it out and wind it Just need to stay calm and wind carefully. Now looking forward to knitting it up
